This Brass Angle is a solid solution strengthened nickel super – alloy developed primarily as a filler metal for welding dissimilar alloys. Our Brass C-Channel has excellent dissimilar welding characteristics, and is widely used for that purpose in the gas turbine, aerospace and chemical process industries. The properties of dissimilar weld joints made with this Brass Chain are dependent upon the base metal being joined, but are generally acceptable for a wide range of combinations.

This allows our Brass I-Beam to excel in creep and fatigue resistance at high temperatures. Our Brass H-Beam also exhibits excellent nitriding and carburization resistance comparable to that of alloy 600. This Brass T-Beam has been a practical solution to chloride stress corrosion cracking problems experienced with other alloys. The high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents of our Brass Angle provide corrosion resistance superior to 300 series of stainless in most environments.

These our Brass C-Channel is not suggested for operating temperatures above 600 Degree F. Brass Chain is also known as beta and near beta alloys, which are metastable and which contain sufficient beta stabilizers (such as molybdenum, silicon and vanadium) to allow them to maintain the beta phase when quenched, and which can also be solution treated and aged to improve strength.

The addition of 0.05 % palladium, 0.1 % ruthenium or 0.05 % palladium and 0.5 % nickel in Titanium Grade 5 H-Beam significantly increases corrosion resistance in reducing acid chloride and sour environments, raising the threshold temperature to well over 200 Degree C.

Titanium Grade 2 Angle is least used of the commercially pure titanium grades, but that does not make it any less valuable. Titanium Grade 2 C-Channel can also be easily machined, hot worked and welded, where hot working should be performed between 400 Degree F and 600 Degree F. Titanium Grade 2 Chain is not heat treatable, and is used for condensers & heat exchangers. Titanium Grade 2 I-Beam is an alpha – beta alloy, which has better response than Ti Grade 5 when heat treating to high strength levels.

The oxide scale of Titanium Grade 2 H-Beam, in turn, presents a very good protective layer, preventing bulk from oxidation. The oxidized layer of Titanium Grade 2 T-Beam provides a better protection than the use of argon or high vacuum. Grade 2 Titanium Angle has physical and mechanical properties equivalent to CP3 titanium.

The corrosion resistance of Grade 2 Titanium Chain is based on the presence of a stable, continuous, tightly adherent oxide layer. Grade 2 Titanium C-Channel also offers a higher strength – to – weight ratio and increased corrosion resistance compared to the stainless steel alloys, thus making it an attractive choice for medical applications. Grade 2 Titanium I-Beam possesses good weldability, strength, ductility and formability.

The standard composition of Super Duplex S32750 Angle has over the years been refined by us, and the resulting restricted composition range was endorsed. Super Duplex S32760 Angle is not generally suitable for use at temperatures above 300 Degree C as it suffers from precipitation of brittle micro constituents, or below -50 Degree C because of its ductile – to – brittle – transition. Super Duplex S32750 Chain has excellent general corrosion resistance, and also superior to Grade 316 in most environments.

Super Duplex S32760 Chain has excellent resistance to localized corrosion including inter – granular, pitting and crevice corrosion, where the CPT is generally at least 35 Degree C. Super Duplex S32750 C-Channel is also resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC) at temperatures of up to about 150 Degree C. Super Duplex S32760 C-Channel will often perform well in environments which cause premature failure of austenitic grades.

A great care must be taken to ensure that there are no stresses in this Nickel 200 Angle being silver brazed, since any stress can cause inter – granular penetration of the brazing material, and severe stress cracking. Applications for our Nickel 200 Chain have withstood the test of time, as they are still widely used and range from seawater system piping, condensers and heat exchangers in naval vessels, commercial shipping, multiple-stage flash desalination and power stations.

This Nickel 200 I-Beam have also been used as splash zone cladding on offshore structures and protective cladding on boat hulls, as well as for solid hulls themselves. Due to its ductility, our Nickel 200 T-Beam can be readily fabricated in a wide variety of product forms and fittings. This Nickel 200 H-Beam can be readily expanded into tube sheets for the manufacturing of shell and tube heat exchangers.

Our Alloy 200 I-Beam tends to be used as seamless tubing and expanded rather than welded into the tube plate.
