Sachiya Steel International is one of the well-known Manufacture and Exporter of quality Monel Alloy 400 Wire Mesh, where maximum attainable surface hardness depends primarily on carbon content. However, content alloying elements of Monel 400 Hexagonal Wire Mesh influence the overall characteristics, where these alloying elements primarily influence hardenability. Maximum hardness and strength in small sections of Monel 400 Welding Wire Mesh increase as carbon content increases, up to about 0.7 %. Contents in Monel 400 Netting Wire Mesh greater than 0.3 % can increase the possibility of cracking during quenching or welding.
Monel 400 Woven Wire Mesh also influences other mechanical and fabrication properties including toughness and machinability. Monel 400 Spring Steel Wire Mesh is often specified when high strength is needed in moderate – to – large sections. Whether tensile or yield strength is the basis of design, thermally treated Monel 400 Fencing Wire Mesh generally offer high strength – to – weight ratios.
For applications requiring maximum ductility, Alloy 400 Hexagonal Wire Mesh with low Sulphur levels can be supplied by producers using ladle – refining techniques. The low carbon in Alloy 400 Welding Wire Mesh provides resistance to sensitization during welding and other thermal processes. Alloy 400 Netting Wire Mesh does not perform well in chloride solutions, even in small concentrations, or in sulphuric acid. In general, wear resistance can be improved by increasing the hardness of Alloy 400 Woven Wire Mesh, by specifying an alloy with greater carbon content (without increasing hardness), or by both.
