With over 11 % of chromium, SS 347H Hexagonal Wire Mesh is about 200 times more resistant to corrosion than mild steel. Stainless Steel 347H Welding Wire Mesh contain trace amounts of nickel, 12 % – 17 % chromium, less than 0.1 % carbon, along with other alloying elements, such as molybdenum, aluminum or titanium. These magnetic and heat – treatable SS 347H Netting Wire Mesh are used in knives, cutting tools, as well as dental and surgical equipment.

The process of manufacturing 347H Stainless Steel Wire Mesh from raw materials such as scrap and sponge iron involves many sophisticated processes. SS 347H Wire Mesh will have a structure consisting fine materials which, as the Carbon content is raised, transitions to a fully structure and on to one containing free carbide in a matrix of fine materials and even some for the highest Carbon grades.
