Titanium Grade 2 Chain is not heat treatable, and is used for condensers & heat exchangers. Titanium Grade 2 I-Beam is an alpha – beta alloy, which has better response than Ti Grade 5 when heat treating to high strength levels.

The oxide scale of Titanium Grade 2 H-Beam, in turn, presents a very good protective layer, preventing bulk from oxidation. The oxidized layer of Titanium Grade 2 T-Beam provides a better protection than the use of argon or high vacuum. Grade 2 Titanium Angle has physical and mechanical properties equivalent to CP3 titanium.

The corrosion resistance of Grade 2 Titanium Chain is based on the presence of a stable, continuous, tightly adherent oxide layer. Grade 2 Titanium C-Channel also offers a higher strength – to – weight ratio and increased corrosion resistance compared to the stainless steel alloys, thus making it an attractive choice for medical applications. Grade 2 Titanium I-Beam possesses good weldability, strength, ductility and formability.
